Part of the Technical University of Denmark. Involved in surveillance of antimicrobial resistance in food and animals, contributing to DANMAP data on both pathogenic bacteria and antibiotic consumption.

Role in AMR Surveillance

  • Analyses and reports foodborne zoonotic bacteria and indicator bacteria from healthy food-producing animals and meat for DANMAP
  • Provides data on antibiotic sales and consumption in the animal sector
  • Analyses VetStat data from DVFA
